Steve is married with two daughters and lives on Northfield Lane. He moved to the village thirty-six years ago from Appleford. He is retired, having worked for many years at the Cowley car plant on Rolls Royce and Mini production. He has been involved in local football for more than forty-five years and is the treasurer and groundsman for Long Wittenham Athletics Club. He lists his other interests as real ale and clay pigeon shooting.
