Steve and his wife Claire have lived in the village since 1982, bringing up three sons. He is a retired Chartered Engineer having worked mainly for local councils on roads, bridges and transport. He has worked for Oxfordshire County Council, Oxford City and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead where he was Head of the Highways and Engineering Department. Steve was co-opted as a parish councillor in late 2014 and took over the Chair after the local elections in May 2015. He helped establish the Good Neighbours Group in May 2014. In his spare time, Steve enjoys gardening, DIY and travel.
